# Sula Tara

> Sula Tara (also known as Ashi Sonam Choden Dorji) is a poet writing in English and Chinese, a Kundalini Activation facilitator, and the founder of Ormiro — a sacred jewelry brand. She is the founder of Rose & Poet and serves as Chief Online Editor for New World Poetry and the Honolulu-based literary journal Mānoa.

## About

Sula Tara's work spans poetry, spiritual healing, and sacred adornment. Her creative philosophy: Word · Energy · Form — the belief that language, energy, and physical form are expressions of the same living force.

She has performed and presented at the New York Public Library (SNFL), the Genoa International Poetry Festival (Italy, 2025), and has been featured in Mānoa: A Pacific Journal of International Writing (University of Hawaiʻi Press), awarded the Pushcart Prize for editorial excellence.
